Are you looking for an active outdoor internship where you can learn a lot, take on responsibility, and work with people? At Klimbos Garderen, you will do your internship at a unique location in the heart of the Veluwe. Together with an enthusiastic team, you will ensure that our guests have a safe and unforgettable day out.
With 10 courses ranging from 1.5 to 25 meters in height, Klimbos Garderen is the largest and safest climbing forest in the Netherlands. In addition to private guests, we welcome many schools and companies every year. With a well-trained and friendly team, we ensure that our guests go home with a big smile on their faces every day.
During your internship, you will be fully involved in the climbing forest. You will help welcome guests, give instructions on how to use the climbing harness, and explain the safety rules for the various courses. You will answer questions and ensure that everyone feels safe and welcome.
We believe it is important that you quickly feel at home. That is why you will receive good guidance and we would like to invite you for a trial day in advance, so that you can experience for yourself whether this internship suits you.
You will learn to give clear instructions to (large) groups.
You will learn everything about checking and keeping our courses safe.
You will learn how to be hospitable while remaining vigilant about safety.
You will receive internal training and work with a digital induction plan.
During team meetings, you will learn to identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.
You can obtain the Rescue Training (worth €800) free of charge in consultation.
